Key points
- A feature allowing players to purchase the exact amount of V-Bucks they need on Fortnite was just implemented.
- The feature was announced a month ago, and will include some balance changes to those who already have V-Bucks on their accounts.
- The feature is available to all platforms except PlayStation.
On Oct. 14, 2025, a feature that lets players buy the exact amount of V-Bucks they want has been implemented on Fortnite. The developers mentioned that the feature will be available in increments of 50 V-Bucks to align with the prices in the game.
The feature was already announced a month ago, on Sept. 11, 2025. Epic Games published a press release regarding it and mentioned that the feature will be available on Xbox, Nintendo, PC, Android, iPhones, iPads and the Fortnite web Item Shop.
Additionally, since the Exact Amount V-Bucks feature only works in increments of 50, those who have Fortnite V-Bucks and Rocket League Credits will have their balances rounded up to the nearest 50 on Oct. 10, 2025. This eliminates unwanted balances that are not divisible by 50.
While the feature is being added to the aforementioned platforms, it seems that it won’t be coming to PlayStation. Fortnite has not commented regarding its absence on the platform as of the writing of this article.
Fortnite was released in 2017 in early access. The game is available on virtually any modern platform currently available. The game has evolved into a user-generated content haven, with its most popular mode being Fortnite Battle Royale.
