Ninja Gaiden 2 Black and three more titles join Xbox Game Pass

Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, Eternal Strands, The Grinch: Christmas Adventures, and Ball x Pit joined Microsoft Gaming’s subscription service, Xbox Game Pass, on Oct. 15, 2025, along with a game preview of He Is Coming.

The Unreal Engine 5 remaster of 2009’s slasher Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 (which is a port of the 2008 Xbox 360 video game Ninja Gaiden II), developed by Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo in 2025 under the name Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, became available on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC via the Xbox app, and Xbox Cloud for members of Game Pass Premium.

The game allows players to assume the role of Ryu Hayabusa, a ninja who has inherited the legendary Dragon Sword and fights battles across the world.

The casual 2D platformer developed by Casual Brothers and published by Outright Games, The Grinch: Christmas Adventures, became available on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC via the Xbox app, Xbox One and Xbox Cloud for members of Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass.

The game allows players to control the Grinch as he steals all the presents in Whoville, using gadgets like the stealthy Santa costume and Candy Cane Lasso, learning the meaning of Christmas along the way.

The action-adventure game developed and published by Yellow Brick Games, Eternal Strands, became available on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC via the Xbox app and Xbox Cloud for members of Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass.

The title allows players to assume control of Brynn, a warrior powered by the ability to manipulate elements and temperature granted by a magical cloak, on a quest to search for the secrets of a long-lost civilization known as the Enclave.

Developed by Kenny Sun and published by Devolver Digital, the brick-breaking, ball-fusing, base-building survival roguelite Ball x Pit became available on day one on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC via the Xbox app, Xbox One and Xbox Cloud for members of Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

The game tasks players to batter hordes of enemies with ricocheting balls and gather the riches of the pit to expand the homestead, generate resources and recruit unique heroes.

Regarding the game preview of the roguelite RPG auto battler He Is Coming, developed by Chronocle and published by Hooded Horse, it became available on Windows PC via the Xbox app for members of Game Pass Premium.
