Arslan “Arslan Ash” Siddique defeated Jeon “Jeondding” Sang-hyun at the inaugural Evo France 2025 to claim his seventh Tekken Evo title, proving his dominance by exorcising his Esports World Cup 2025 demons.
His path to the grand finals included the Tekken legend Son “Qudans” Byeong-mun, who eliminated him at the Esports World Cup 2025. He also had to fight Kane “KaneAndTrench” Heartfield, Rey Matthew “KingReyJr” Escanio and Fergus “Fergus” McGee.
Arslan Ash came from the loser’s side of the top eight, meaning that one more set loss would have sent him home. Jeondding, on the other hand, was on the winner’s side and had an easy time knocking KaneAndTrench and Fergus down to the loser’s side.
However, Arslan Ash’s seventh Evo title would not be denied, as he quickly reset the bracket with his trusty Nina. In the second set, Jeondding fought hard, being the first one to reach set point — one win away from getting his first Evo title.
Arslan Ash denied this achievement as he quickly adjusted his gameplay and caught Jeondding off guard, resulting in a swift two-game victory and his seventh Evo title.
