On Oct. 09, 2025, Paradox Interactive finally announced that Cities: Skylines II’s major expansion, Bridges & Ports, is finally slated to be released on Oct. 29, 2025. The expansion has been delayed twice: first in 2024, then its much more recent one was in September 2025.
The expansion will add many new features, including drawbridges to connect cities to the sea, lift bridges and port customization. The maritime industries also get improvements, which allow players to make fishing piers or even have offshore oil rigs.
A new radio station, called the Cold Wave Channel, will also be available to players. It “gives you a unique blend of icy beats and enigmatic vibes, serving as a sleek backdrop that stimulates creativity and focus.”
The expansion costs $19.99, and players who own Cities: Skylines II Ultimate Edition or the Waterfronts Expansion Pass will receive both Bridges & Ports and the Cold Wave Channel at no additional cost. For those who only want the radio channel, they can buy it for $4.99.
