On Oct. 9, 2025, an X post from Battlefield Bulletin revealed that there will be XP boosters and modifiers exclusive only to those who have Battlefield 6 on PlayStation 5. According to the post, there’s going to be a total of +15% boost when certain conditions are met.
The conditions mentioned are:
- Owning the game on PlayStation 5
- Joining a party
- Be a PlayStation Plus subscriber and join a party with 2+ subscribers.
Each of the conditions provides a 5% XP boost to the player, and it’s worth noting that, as mentioned above, it only applies to PlayStation 5. This means that players on PlayStation 5 will level up quicker, but since it’s just a maximum of 15%, it shouldn’t be that big of an advantage.
Battlefield 6 is coming out on Oct. 10, 2025, for the PlayStation 5, PC and Xbox Series X|S. The game had a highly successful open beta test, where thousands of people participated, making it the largest in the franchise.
Regarding the XP boost for PlayStation 5 players, Microsoft has not yet announced any benefits that players can obtain by exclusively purchasing the game on their consoles.
