Destiny Rising update adds new characters Helhest and Rossi-11

Destiny Rising’s latest patch update added two new characters: Helhest and Rossi-11. Helehst, the Tech Officer, is a Mythic support character that wields a bow and a linear fusion rifle; they are an Awoken Tech Officer from Felwinter Peak. As for Rossi-11, the Weaver, the Legendary defense character wields the arc element and dons an EXO mask. They are devoted to helping those in need, but ask for nothing in return. 

The Destiny Rising patch update also included various system improvements and adjustments, alongside updates to the Battle Pass, in-game shop, and other features.

I. New Characters

1. Mythic Character: Helhest, the Tech Officer

• Element: Arc
• Role: Support
• Weapons: Bow, Linear Fusion Rifle
• Helhest is an Awoken tech officer from Felwinter Peak, seemingly bearing secrets that stand in stark contrast to her ordinary background.

2. Legendary Character: Rossi-11, the Weaver

• Element: Arc
• Role: Defense
• Weapons: Bow, Auto Crossbow
• One day, a strange Exo donning a mask and old yet regal clothing appeared in the Red Sea Rift. Though devoted to helping those in need, they never leave their name.

II. New Events

Limited-Time Draw “Winter’s Emissary”

• Duration: Starts after 10/9 maintenance and is available for 28 days.
• Guaranteed Mythic: Helhest.
• Legendary Characters: Rossi-11, Finnala, and Ikora.
• A Character Trial for Helhest will be available.

Time-limited Event “Helhest’s Technical Upgrade”

• Duration: 10/09 after maintenance – 11/06 04:00:00 (UTC-7).
• Rewards: Complete missions for “Royal Contravene Detritus,” “Exotic Weapon Core,” and “Exotic Mod Selection (Piercing).”
• Exotic Weapon Synthesis: The Exotic Weapon “Royal Contravene” can be synthesized. You can obtain a maximum of 120 “Royal Contravene Detritus” from the event, with 60 required for one synthesis.

Limited-Time Event “Pandora’s Wheel of Fortune”

• Duration: After 10/9 maintenance – 10/23 at 04:00:00 (UTC-7).
• How to Play: Complete quests and challenges to earn Lucky Pointers and spin the wheel for prizes.
• Premium Wheel: Claiming all standard rewards unlocks the Premium Wheel with rewards like Artifactual Clusters and Exotic Elemental Artifact Choice Chests.
• Requirement: Team Lv.61 or higher.

III. New Shop Additions

New Cosmetics

• Helhest Mythic Ornaments: “The Crow” and “Woodland White.”
• Helhest Mythic Relic Ornaments: “Shadows of the Past” and “Rose Red.”
• Crow Bundle: Get “The Crow” and “Shadows of the Past” at a 20% discount.
• Legendary Ornaments: “Deepspace Coating,” “Magnesium Light,” “Sanguine Spring,” and “Silk-Wrapped Jade” added for the new characters.

New Bundles

• The Season of Daybreak Act II “Patron Bundle” replaces the “Founder Bundle.”
• Availability: After 10/9 maintenance – 11/6 at 04:00:00 (UTC-7).
• Rewards:
  • Instantly Acquired: Permanent title “Patron,” “Bon Voyage Charm L.E.,” “Pinnacle Energy Reserves,” and a limited-time chat frame.
  • Weekly Boost: Weekly Overclocked Capacitors increased from 2 to 3.
  • The “Patron” title will track the number of Patron Bundles purchased.

IV. Battle Pass Update

“Season of Daybreak Act II” Battle Pass

• Duration: After 10/9 maintenance – 11/6 at 04:00:00 (UTC-7).
• New Exotic Weapon: The Exotic Bow: Trinity Ghoul is added to the Battle Pass.
• Premium Rewards:
  • Rank 20: Emote “Evil Possession.”
  • Rank 30: Emote “Kneel and Worship.”
  • Rank 50: Trinity Ghoul Ornament Random Bundle.
• Premium Battle Pass Plus: Instantly claims the transmat effect, “The Traveler.”

V. Optimizations & Adjustments

• Combat & Balancing:
  • Exotic Shotgun: Octant Riot Disperser now returns to default mode when switching activities.
  • Exotic Auto Crossbow: Mahamayuri damage reduced to Piercing Shinkas’ weak spots.
  • Balanced effects of some Gifts of the Nine.
• System & Activity: Improved invisibility rules for Shifting Gates and Iron Bar; improved ability recharge and summon duration for Realm of the IX.
• New Features & System Improvements:
  • Draws: Collecting all pieces of a collectible illustration now activates its corresponding Shadowshaper card face.
  • Artifacts: Added Power composition comparison, Quick Equip, and Batch Replace features.
  • Training Ground: Character Trials now include an introduction with a short bio and strategy summary.
  • Performance: 90 FPS option unlocked for iPhone 17 series and some high-end Android devices.
• Economy & Resource Cost:
  • Added a weekly Lumia Leaf gift to Pandora’s Deals.
  • Added Trinity Ghoul ornaments to the Season of Daybreak Engram and the Season Collection.
  • Season of Daybreak Engrams added to the Bright Dust Shop.
  • Bows added as potential rewards for Strikes, Gauntlet activities, Shifting Gates, and some Legendary/Mythic engrams.
• Characters & Narrative: Added Character Quests for Helhest and Rossi-11.

VI. Fixed Issues

• [Event] Fixed an issue with the Pegasus Bravo Sparrow to allow redemption from the Sparrow Racing event shop.
• [Season] Fixed a text issue with the Haven Crest’s “Protector’s Oath” effect.
• [Characters] Fixed an issue with multiple connection special effects when multiple Tan-2 Supers were activated simultaneously.
• [English Localization] Fixed issues with some Shadowshaper card effect descriptions and Exotic Auto Crossbow: Mahamayuri’s lore page formatting.
• [Latin American Spanish Localization] Fixed some display issues, terminology issues, and dialogue tone issues.

Both Helhest and Rossi-11 were teased in late September through datamines of Destiny: Rising’s files. Two other characters were revealed as well: Maru and Jaren.

No need gauntlet was added in this patch; the last Elcipse raid is still ongoing, albeit many of the events for the exclusive rewards have since concluded.
