Riot Games released a $100 2XKO Arcane bundle as a part of the fighting game’s early-access launch. The bundle has three mythic-tier skins for Vi, Jinx, and Ekko, featuring Arcane season 2-inspired designs. The skins are not available to purchase individually.
The community vocalized mixed feelings for the bundle; one user really wanted the Ekko variant but could not justify the $99.99 price tag. Jinx is shown wearing her iconic purple hoodie, while her sister, Vi, dons a goth-punk outfit she wore while participating in gauntlet fights. Ekko, on the other hand, wears his fireflies mask.
The bundle also comes with alternate colors, an exclusive finisher, eight champion unlock tokens, a player card, avatar cosmetics, and 5,000 KO points.
Other Riot Games IPs, such as League of Legends and Valorant, have had similar pricing structures. League of Legends received community criticism after debuting a Faker skin bundle for roughly $500; Riot Games repeated the pattern when releasing Uzi’s commemorative Risen Legend Vayne, which accidentally made the game pay-to-win for a brief time period.
2XKO early access began for PC ON Oct 7, debuting Warwick and Teemo as playable champions. Tom Cannon, executive producer of 2XKO, published a social media post regarding the game’s future, where he stated that the developers are still keen on getting the game to consoles as early as possible.
