Key points
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 7’s early access already has cheaters in it.
- Aimbotters, wallhackers and more have been posted online.
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 touted an updated anti-cheat system.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 early access has been live for less than 24 hours, and players are already reporting cheaters. Clips of wallhackers, aimbotters and more have been appearing online, showing just how rampant it is.
An X post by a newly created account gave players a first-person view of the cheat in action. It shows the player running around, snapping quickly from player to player, which isn’t something that a normal human should be able to do.
Activision announced on Sept. 29, 2025, that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has an updated Ricochet Anti-Cheat, which requires players to have TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot enabled to play the game. This is similar to what Battlefield 6 is doing with its anti-cheat.
However, the anti-cheat updates appear to be faltering in this early access, with cheaters having already infiltrated the game and being able to circumvent the anti-cheat system with such ease.
Regarding the cheater who went viral, Call of Duty developers confirmed that the player has already been banned. However, when players inquired whether it was due to the anti-cheat or because the clip had gone viral, the developers did not respond.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is scheduled to release on Nov. 14, 2025. The game will be available on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
