Audio version of the article will appear right here in minutes.
Key points
- Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault has been delayed for a second time.
- The reason for this delay was due to how crowded October is in terms of game releases.
- Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault’s early access will now be on Nov. 19, 2025.
On Oct. 1, 2025, the developers of Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault announced that they will delay the game’s early access because they felt that October “has become too crowded for us.” The game was supposed to launch in early access on Oct. 23, 2025.
“While our original plan was set for October 23, the month has filled up with so many other great releases that we feel it has become too crowded for us. And as every wise shopkeeper knows, even the most precious gem can be overlooked in an overstuffed showcase,” said the developers.
With that being said, the game’s early access has been moved to Nov. 19, 2025. Additionally, the developers also said that there will be “closed playtests on Steam and via the Microsoft Store, allowing you to test some of the changes we have implemented in the game based on your feedback.”
Regarding the start of the closed beta tests, the developers did not mention anything. They did, however, say that there will be news regarding that soon.
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault has suffered two delays now, with this one being its most recent. Upon release, the game will be available on PC first. It is unclear when the console versions of the game will be released.
