Marvel Rivals season 4.5 update is scheduled to debut on Oct. 10 at 3 am PT, with the new hero Daredevil releasing at the same time. Daredevil is a duelist, using his iconic radar sense which makes all evil visible. 

During combat, Daredevil can pick priority targets based on the battle state, using his agility thereafter to close the gap and unleash rapid attacks with his Billy Clubs. He can dip into The Beast’s power through his ultimate ability, which amplifies his martial arts and causes his enemies to who look at him to be “gripped by fear.”  Marvel Rivals Daredevil full move set has not been revealed, but the developer vision vol. 10 YouTube video did preview some gameplay of the upcoming hero. 

Marvel Rivals: Season 4.5 Update! // Dev Vision Vol. 10

The Marvel Rival season 4.5 update will remove Ragnarok Rebirth (Hela – Thor), alongside remove Namor from Gamma Charge (Hulk – Namor/Black Panther). These are in context of team-up abilities. The following team-up abilities are being added: 

  • Bestial Hunt (Daredevil – The Punisher)
  • Deep Wrath (Hela – Namor)

Brief gameplay of the team-ups in action are showcased in the Marvel Rivals: Season 4.5 update video. According to Guangguang, Creative Director of the multiplayer third-person shooter, a new mode is planned as well; details are scheduled to reveal during Thailand Game Show on Oct. 17. A Halloween costume themed event is coming soon as well, with themed costumes for Jeff, Spider-Man, and more.

Guangguang confirmed that Cross-Platform Progression is coming, but the ranked and leaderboard progression will remain separate for the platforms. Homescreen background customization is being added, allowing players to choose various wallpapers for their home background.  

No details regarding the team-up ability and gameplay balance were revealed yet; the notes are expected closer to the Marvel Rivals season 4.5 update date, which is on Oct. 10.
