Everything Revealed During PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct

The PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct occurred on Sept. 28, 2025, revealing a total of 38 video game trailers. PC Gamer had an exclusive interview with Yakuza Kiwami 3’s development studio’s Director and Executive Producer: Masayoshi Yokoyama. 

In the interview, the director states that the previous games were full remakes, but this time they have “essentially created another brand new game on top.”  They are adding a portrayal of the enemy of the main protagonist as an additional playable protagonist with their own parallel storyline, granting a new perspective to interact with the story.
