In a continued battle against cheaters in PUBG: Battlegrounds, the game’s anti-cheat team posted a developer update detailing the actions that Krafton has taken and plans to take. The developers are using an AI-based solution alongside legal action taken in cooperation with various governments to clearly show that the anti-cheat response is becoming stronger.
Between January and June 2025, the anti-cheat team confirmed that over $950,000 in profits were acquired by cheat-selling organizations, also confirming over 8,000 types of hacks distributed. The cooperation with authorities attempts to make it more difficult for the mentioned organizations to operate.

Despite the successful marketing implementation of the AI-based anti-cheat system, Krafton acknowledged that players may not yet fully feel the difference quite yet.
“Having confirmed the performance of the newly introduced AI-based blocking solution, we will continue to fine-tune and advance it, improving it to a level where players can tangibly experience the results,” the anti-cheat team wrote, reassuring the playerbase.
One of the focuses for the anti-cheat team is the keyboard and mouse usage on consoles, granting unfair advantages through faster reactions. The issue still prevails, but the anti-cheat team states that the number of detected and penalized cases has increased about six times.
PUBG: Mobile celebrated a brainrot collaboration with Skibidi Toilet on Sept. 25, 2025.
