Microsoft Opens ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X Preorders; Reveals Official Price

On Sept. 25, 2025, Microsoft announced that ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X will be globally available on Oct. 16, 2025, and that preorders are already open for those who want to buy them and not have to deal with supply shortages.
Microsoft has also released estimated retail prices of $999.99 and $599.99 for the ROG Xbox Ally X and Xbox Ally, respectively, for the US. A press release said that prices per region will be revealed as the preorders go live.

Meanwhile, the press release promoted some accessories to outfit the new device, including a microSD card, an SSD and a carrying case that features a detachable pouch for a 65W charger. Both of the devices will launch on Oct. 16, 2025.
