Amazon Japan reportedly leaked the release date for Nioh 3, an upcoming action RPG set during the Sengoku period, one of the most tumultuous parts of medieval Japan. The release date for both Nioh 3 Standard Edition and Treasurebox Edition is on Feb. 6, 2026, launching on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.
The Amazon listing has since been removed, but Gematsu spotted the leak before it was scrubbed. The Treasure Box Edition comes with an official artbook, soundtrack CD, original desk mat, and a Sunekosuri key chain.
Nioh 2, the predecessor to Nioh 3, was initially released in 2020 and sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide. Developed and published by Koei Tecmo, the same company responsible for the Dynasty Warriors franchise, the Nioh series has Souls-like mechanics with a heavy influence from fast-paced character action games like Ninja Gaiden, a title also developed by Koei’s Team Ninja.
