The Web3 MMORPG Breath of Estova launched its Season 1 closed alpha on Sept. 24, 2025, as announced on the title’s official X page.

The 2D action-adventure set in an open world allows players to align with one of five unique kingdoms, each defined by its own history, ideology and ambitions, to forge their own legacy and uncover the hidden mysteries of Estova along the way.

Breath of Estova offers players a variety of dungeons that can be explored solo or with up to three companions, multiple bosses to challenge and PvP arenas with guild tournaments.

The play-to-earn title is built on Monad, a layer-1 blockchain designed for parallel execution of transactions, enabling high throughput and low latency. The game also features its own native onchain token, ESTOVA, which players can use for in-game purchases.

Breath of Estova’s economy features skins that can drop as loot and be traded in social hubs, along with housing and collectible pets, which come in four categories: Common, Uncommon, Rare and Legendary.
