The Steam Deck LCD has received a 20% discount ahead of Steam’s Autumn Sale, allowing fans to purchase the handheld gaming PC a week early. The sale starts today and will be up until Oct. 6, 2025.
While not the OLED model, the 256GB version of the Steam Deck LCD’s discounted price of $319.20 from $399.99 is pretty hard to beat, considering that it’s one of the cheapest handheld gaming PC compared to the likes of the Lenovo Legion Go 2, which stands at $1099 just for the regular model.
Both the Steam Deck LCD and OLED models can play the games that were marked as Steam Deck verified on the Steam storefront. However, in terms of specifications, Steam Deck OLED edges the LCD model out due to its bigger battery, higher maximum refresh rate and faster Wi-Fi 6E.
With that being said, the OLED version is also more expensive than the LCD version, which makes the latter much more enticing to buy, especially with the Steam Autumn Sale coming up. Buyers might want to save the few extra dollars to be able to buy games they can load up to their Steam Decks and enjoy the system.
