Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora – From the Ashes: EXPANSION REVEAL TEASER

The narrative of From the Ashes takes place a couple of weeks after the upcoming Fire and Ash Avatar film. This translates to “roughly six months after Frontiers of Pandora and both story packs,” according to Omar Bouali, the creative director of the project, who told IGN in an exclusive interview.

The DLC expansion will mirror the themes of the film; while the film and expansion are set in different regions of Pandora, they will share similar DNA. Massive Entertainment, the developers of the title, worked closely with Lightstorm, the creators of the upcoming movie, to ensure franchise cohesiveness. The upcoming Avatar movie also releases at the same date: Dec. 19, making for a simultaneous release date for both the story expansion and the blockbuster film.

In addition to the upcoming DLC, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is scheduled to receive a free December update, which adds the third-person camera option alongside a New Game+ mode.
