On Sept. 22, Fortnite teased a trailer for the upcoming Daft Punk collaboration. The teaser posts have since been deleted and removed, with the original official update blog now reading “error 092725.” The exact nature of this “reaccessing” of memories remains unclear; it may be a marketing stunt, but it might also be an actual error on Epic Games.
Before being removed, the Daft Punk Experience was marketed as a part of Fortnite concerts with a fully interactive playground in Discover mode. The official blog post reiterated that the band is not getting back together, despite the use of the band’s music within Fortnite.
HypeX, a reputable Fortnite leaker, claims that the event will begin on Sept 28, with the following songs being added:
- Get Lucky
- One More Time
- Around The World
- Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger
Fortnite recently added proximity voice chat in the Delulu game mode. In the span of only a couple of days, thousands of players were banned for poor in-game voice chat behavior. Many of the bans are temporary in length, but threaten a permanent ban upon multiple infractions.
