Delta Force kicks off Invitational 2025

The first-ever World Championship event for the Operations game mode in Delta Force started on Sept. 19, 2025.

Titled Delta Force Invitational 2025, the offline event has gathered 12 teams from around the world in China at the Hangzhou E-sports Center.

On the first day of the championship, 12 teams will be divided into two groups of six. The top three teams in each group will move into the Group Advance bracket of Round 2, while the bottom three from each group will fall into the Group Loser bracket of the second round.

Round 2, which starts right after the end of the first on Sept. 19, 2025, will continue until Sept. 20, 2025. In the Group Advance side, the top two teams will secure direct spots in the grand finals, while the remaining four will drop down into Round 3. On the Group Loser side, the top two teams will earn a place in Round 3, while the next two are sent into the Lower Bracket Final, and the bottom two are eliminated.

Round 3 will take place on Sept. 20, 2025, where the top two teams will qualify for the grand finals and the other four will be pushed into the Lower Bracket Final. Also, on Sept. 20, 2025, the Lower Bracket Final will be played, with two teams advancing to the grand finals and the other four being eliminated.

The grand finals of the Delta Force Invitational 2025 will be held on Sept. 21, 2025, with six remaining teams competing for the title of World Champion.

Notably, the Delta Force Invitational 2025 will be played on the Break season patch.

The total prize pool of the championship is $505,000. The first-place winner will receive $150,000, while the second-place winner will get $80,000. Third place will earn $50,000, and those finishing fourth through sixth will each receive $35,000. Participants placing seventh through 12th will be awarded $20,000 each.

The roster of teams participating in the tournament includes ESG, Qing JLU Club, Team AKA, INK, MBA, Fallen, Gold Silver, Moogrob Gang, ISG, Legit, Fennel, Notes and Team SS.

The free-to-play first-person tactical shooter Delta Force (formerly Delta Force: Hawk Ops) is playable on Windows PC, Android and iOS platforms, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

According to SteamDB, on the day before the Delta Force Invitational 2025 commenced, the game hit a new all-time peak of 226,403 concurrent players on Steam.
