Gearbox’s latest patch update for Borderlands 4 was implemented on Sept. 18, 2025, adding various GPU-related crash fixes and addressing crashes tied to animation states, audio, and collision checks. The update also debuts a weekly Big Encore Boss, which is a harder variant of preexisting boss fights in Borderlands 4.
Weekly Wildcard missions and Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine were updated as well, with new rewards available via mission completion and new items for sale in Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine.

- Resolved an issue where the Reward Center could stop working after claiming the Gilded Glory Pack rewards

- Corrected “Doesn’t own DLC” warnings incorrectly showing up on non-DLC gear

- Updated loot pools so Gilded Glory Pack guns no longer appear in standard chests
