In a press release published on Sept. 16, 2025, A Plus Japan revealed that the MMORPG Blue Protocol: Star Resonance will launch on Oct. 9, 2025. The game will be available on PC, via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as Android and iOS.
The announcement was made after the closed beta test that ended on Sept. 9, 2025. The developers posted a video reminiscing about it and included the release date at the very end, much to the surprise of a lot of players.
It’s worth noting that this release will only cover Europe, North America and South America. Those living in Asia and Southeast Asia still have no news regarding the release of the game in their region.
Additionally, the developers announced that players with a Crunchyroll account will receive bonuses such as exclusive in-game rewards, avatar frames, mount skins and more. The exact things to be handed out haven’t been announced yet.
Those wanting to be one of the first to hop on the server are able to wishlist the game now on their respective platforms. The game supports cross-play and cross-platform play between those playing on smartphones and PC. It is still unclear whether the game will be available on consoles.
