Pocketpair announced that its hit game Palworld will officially launch sometime in 2026. The exact launch date is unknown, but the developers have mentioned that next year is their target date, and they are ramping up the game’s development.
In the video accompanying the announcement, Pocketpair reminisced about the game’s major updates, such as the raid update, crossplay implementation and the latest Tides of Terrarria collaboration.
The team also mentioned that Palworld has numerous bugs and that they need to clean up the game before fully releasing it. As such, the team will be a little quieter for the rest of the year. They also added that the winter update will not be as big as last year’s.

Aside from Palworld 1.0, Pocketpair also mentioned their publishing endeavors and said that they are currently working with developers from all over the world, saying that they want to use their success to support others.
Finally, Pocketpair is “working on some other things” but cannot reveal them yet. They pledged that their focus is still on Palworld, but smaller teams have been tinkering with ideas that might turn into interesting games in the future.
Palworld was released on early access on Jan 19, 2024, for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. A PlayStation 5 version followed in September of the same year, and a macOS version was released on March 4, 2025.
