Hades Tops September 2025 Xbox Game Pass Lineup of New Games

Hades and nine more titles will join the roster of games on Microsoft Gaming’s subscription service, Xbox Game Pass, in September 2025, along with three game previews.

On top of that, the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Early Access Open Beta and one more title that will join the subscription in October 2025 were revealed via Xbox Wire.

The first-person shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will become available on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One for members of Game Pass Standard on Sept. 17, 2025.

Developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision in 2023, the twentieth installment of the Call of Duty series and the third entry in the rebooted Modern Warfare sub-series follows the story of multinational special operations unit Task Force 141 as they track down Vladimir Makarov, a Russian ultranationalist and terrorist planning to trigger a third World War.

The tactical role-playing game with turn-based combat, For the King II, will become available on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One for members of Game Pass Standard on Sept. 17, 2025.

Developed by IronOak Games and published by Curve Games in 2023, the sequel to 2018’s For the King centers on fighting against Fahrul’s tyrannical queen.

The shoot ’em up video game Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor will become available on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC via the Xbox app, and Xbox Cloud for members of Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on its launch day, Sept. 17, 2025.

In the game developed and published by Funday Games, players control a dwarf on a solo mission to mine ore, shooting enemies while venturing into the depths of the procedurally generated planet Hoxxes IV.

Developed and published by 11 Bit Studios, 2024’s city-building survival video game Frostpunk 2 will become available on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Cloud for members of Game Pass Ultimate on Sept. 18, 2025.

Set 30 years after the events of the original 2018 game, Frostpunk 2 tasks players with taking on the role of a leader in an alternate-history early 20th century in order to build and manage a city during a catastrophic, worldwide volcanic winter that almost completely destroyed human civilization, while making morally and politically controversial choices to ensure its survival.

The open-world physics sandbox Wobbly Life will become available on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC via the Xbox app, and Xbox Cloud for members of Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard on Sept. 18, 2025.

Developed and published by RubberBandGames in 2020, the open-world sandbox, filled with 50 unique missions, 90 vehicles, 250 clothing items, mini-games, and toys, features online co-op for up to four players, along with local split-screen co-op.

Developed and published by Supergiant Games, 2020’s Hades will become available on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC via the Xbox app, Xbox Cloud, and Xbox One for members of Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard on Sept. 19, 2025.

In the game, players control Zagreus, the son of Hades, as he attempts to escape from the Underworld to reach Mount Olympus, at times aided by boons the other Olympians bestow on him.

Developed by Windwalk Games and published by Team17, Sworn, which was released on Feb. 6, 2025, will become available on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC via the Xbox app, and Xbox Cloud for members of Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on Sept. 23, 2025.

Playable solo or in parties of up to 4 players, the co-op action rogue-like allows players to explore and reclaim a fallen Camelot from the reign of a corrupted Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table.

Developed by Petoons Studio and published by Outright Games, 2023’s Peppa Pig: World Adventures will become available on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC via the Xbox app, and Xbox Cloud for members of Game Pass Standard, Game Pass Ultimate, and PC Game Pass on Sept. 25, 2025.

In the game players control Peppa Pig as she travels to different countries around the world, exploring new locations and meeting new friends.

Developed by Ouka Studios and published by Square Enix, 2024’s Visions of Mana will become available on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC via the Xbox app, and Xbox Cloud for members of Game Pass Standard, Game Pass Ultimate, and PC Game Pass on Sept. 25, 2025.

The fifth main title in the Mana series follows the story of the young swordsman Val as he travels with a group of companions to renew the flow of Mana in the world.

developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix 2010’s Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will become available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC via the Xbox app, and Xbox Cloud for members of Game Pass Standard, Game Pass Ultimate, and PC Game Pass on Sept. 30, 2025.

The story of the game, featuring both solo and cooperative gameplay, unfolds as Lara Croft attempts to find the mirror from old legend that can unleash hordes of ghastly creatures.

The game preview of the chaotic city builder for 1–6 players, Overthrown, will become available on Xbox Series X|S for members of Game Pass Standard on Sept. 17, 2025.

A ten-hour Early Access Trial of football simulation video game EA Sports FC 26 will become eavlialble on Sep 19 2025 (11 days before official launch) for members of PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate

The game preview of the 4X strategy game Endless Legend 2 will become available on Windows PC via the Xbox app for members of Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on Sept. 22, 2025.

On Sept. 24, 2025, members of Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass will receive the Re-Supply Pack for Terminull Brigade, which is playable on Windows PC via the Xbox Game Pass app. The Re-Supply Pack will bring a seasonal Rogueteer Skin, 5 Respawn Coins, 20,000 Terminull Coins, 100 Tycho Coins, 5 Capacity Cores, 5 Refractor Data, and 3 XGP Lootboxes.

On top of that, the Jäger Covert Set became available as of the time of writing in Rainbow Six Siege, bringing the Nightfall uniform and weapon skin for the 416-C assault rifle, along with the Multi-Vision headgear and Splinter Seal charm.

While new titles are coming on board Microsoft’s subscription service, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, and Terra Invicta will leave the Xbox Game Pass library on Sept. 30, 2025.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Early Access Open Beta will run from Oct. 2 to Oct. 8, 2025, for those who preordered the game and eligible Game Pass subscribers.

Developed and published by StudioBando Sopa – Tale of the Stolen Potato will become available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC via the Xbox app, and Xbox Cloud on Oct. 7, 2025.

The game follows the story of Miho as he steps into the pantry to get a potato for his grandmother’s soup and suddenly gets pulled into a distant, fantastical land where he must retrace the steps of a mysterious great traveler before him.

Besides that, in Oct. 2025, members of the Game Pass Core subscription plan will see three new titles added to the library, including Cities: Skylines – Remastered, Disney Dreamlight Valley, and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.
