Steal A Brainrot Surpasses 24 Million Concurrent Players, Beating Grow a Garden’s Peak

Steal A Brainrot officially achieved the highest concurrent player count record on Roblox, hitting 24,127,405 players. This behemoth of a number surpassed Grow a Garden’s previous peak, which was 22,346,726; this was the previous record for the highest concurrent player count. The record was achieved on Sept. 13, 2025. The Fortnite iteration of the title passed 500,000 concurrent players. 

This achievement far surpasses the highest concurrent player count on all of Steam’s most popular games. At the itme of writing, according to SteamDB, PUBG: Battleground holds the highest concurrent player count achievement the platform, having hit 3,257,248 peak concurrent players. Steal A Brainrot surpassed this figure by more than 20 million players.

Steal A Brainrot was initially created in May of 2025; it is a simulator tycoon experience where players can purchase, defend, and steal brainrot characters. The player can obtain brainrot by either purchasing one from a red conveyer or stealing brainrot from another user’s unlocked base. The game begins with 100 cash, after which the player must earn more cash and steal from others. 

Leaving the brainrot in the base generates money over time, which can be used to upgrade the base and buy more characters. The popular Roblox title has a rebirth mechanic, where the player can reset their progress in exchange for permanent upgrades, which includes better stats, more powerful items, and more. 

Steal A Brainrot is available on all platforms where Roblox is available — that includes the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and 5, Windows PCs and macOS, Adnroid and iOS smartphones, Meta Quest VR, and other VR headsets.
