The game is slated for release on Feb. 5, 2026, for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC.
The story of the game follows the protagonist, who embarks on a journey to the past with his friend in order to find out why all the continents on the planet vanished, leaving only one small island.
The original title is well known for its huge size, as even without the side quests, the game’s main campaign can take over 100 hours to complete.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past sold approximately 4 million copies worldwide on PlayStation and over 1 million on Nintendo 3DS.
Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is coming at a price of $59.99, according to the official page of the game on the Nintendo Store.
