Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.6, Back to Earth in Evernight, is about to bring two new 5-star characters, two new Light Cones, a new Trailblaze mission, two new maps, multiple events and more.

While there is no official confirmation for the release date of the new version, according to multiple reports, it will launch on Sept. 24, 2025, across all platforms on which the game is available.

The free-to-claim 5-star character coming to the game is a Dan Heng Permansor Terrae, a defensive character who can summon Souldragon as an ally unit and third version of Dan Heng In addition to the origignal character and Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae.

To claim Dan Heng Permansor Terrae, players above level 3 will just need to log in during the Pact of Permansor Terrae event, which will continue from Oct. 15, 2025, until the end of Version 4.0. Along with the character, players will receive materials to level him up to 60.

Dan Heng Permansor Terrae’s warp period will start on Oct. 15, 2025, and continue until Nov. 4, 2025.

The warp period for Dan Heng Permansor Terrae’s 5-star Light Cone, titled Though Worlds Apart, will start on Oct. 15, 2025, and and end on Nov. 4, 2025.

The other 5-star character coming to Honkai: Star Rail is Evernight, a DPS who can summon the memosprite Evey in combat and increase the damage of all ally memosprites.

Evernight’s warp period will start right after the V3.6 update and will continue until October 15, 2025.

The warp period for Evernight’s 5-star Light Cone, titled To Evernight’s Stars, will start with the launch of Version 3.6 and end on October 15, 2025.

As for the in-game events, Version 3.6, Back to Earth in Evernight, will bring Gift of Odyssey, which will grant ten Star Rail Special Passes for check-in over a total of seven days during the event. Besides that during Gift of Odyssey players will be able to claim daily rewards in the Travel Log by logging in to the game. Gift of Odyssey will continue until the launch of Version 3.7.

The permanent high-difficulty challenge, Anomaly Arbitration, is an event which gets updated once per Version and consists of three Knight Trial stages and one final King in Check stage. Players will need to complete the stages within a set number of cycles to clear the challenge.

Nice Weather for Dromases, dedicated to the hatching of an egg from the Dromas Workshop, will become available after finishing the Trailblaze Mission titled Amphoreus – Witch’s Mirrored Reversal and can be experienced in advance through the Finality’s Vision function.

Besides that, such events as the Try-Not-to-Laugh Challenge, Colorful Mayhem, and Planar Fissure / Realm of the Strange will be presented in Version 3.6, along with the expansion of Synchronicity Level to 100, and adjustments to the names, visual effects, and some effects of certain Golden Blood Boons.

On top of that, Version 3.6 of Honkai: Star Rail will introduce two new maps, Radiant Scarwood: Grove of Epiphany and Universal Matrix: Great Tomb of the Nameless Titan, along with a powerful new enemy, Ichor Memosprite: Judge of Oblivion.

After the Version 3.6 update, the “Story Recap” feature will go live along with Recommended Line-Up Hintб Reward Guide and Character Guide features.

Also, a new store, Gift of Stardust, will open with the launch of the Version 3.6 update, so players will be able to use Lone Stardust to exchange for the pet Complainer, Pom-Pom’s outfit Sweet Dreams! Pajamas Set, avatars, a namecard, and other items.

Besides that, by clearing the new stage Cavern of Corrosion: Path of Hidden Salvation, players will be able to obtain the new Relics World-Remaking Deliverer and Self-Enshrouded Recluse.

The Phase 1 event warp period will begin after the V3.6 update on Oct. 15, 2025. During the Message From Beyond character event warp, the drop rates for the limited 5-star character The Herta (Erudition: Ice) and the 4-star characters Misha (Destruction: Ice), Guinaifen (Nihility: Fire), and Xueyi (Destruction: Quantum) will be temporarily increased. At the same time, the Bygone Reminiscence: Into the Unreachable Veil Light Cone event warp will boost the drop rates of the limited 5-star Light Cone Into the Unreachable Veil (Erudition), as well as the 4-star Light Cones Dream’s Montage (Abundance), After the Charmony Fall (Erudition), and Dance! Dance! Dance! (Harmony) for a limited period.

The Phase 2 event warp period will run from Oct. 15, 2025, to Nov. 4, 2025. During the Slay Until Evil Ends character event warp, the drop rates for the 5-star character Dan Heng Permansor Terrae (Preservation: Physical) and the 4-star characters Sushang (The Hunt: Physical), Hanya (Harmony: Physical), and Serval (Erudition: Lightning) will be temporarily increased. At the same time, the Brilliant Fixation: Though Worlds Apart Light Cone event warp will boost the drop rates of the limited 5-star Light Cone Though Worlds Apart (Preservation), as well as the 4-star Light Cones Landau’s Choice (Preservation), Only Silence Remains (The Hunt), and Perfect Timing (Abundance) for a limited period.

The Phase 2 event warp period will run from Oct. 15, 2025, Nov. 2025. During the Universe in a Seed character event warp, the drop rates for the 5-star character Anaxa (Erudition: Wind) and the 4-star characters Sushang (The Hunt: Physical), Hanya (Harmony: Physical), and Serval (Erudition: Lightning) will be temporarily increased. At the same time, the Bygone Reminiscence: Life Should Be Cast to Flames Light Cone event warp will boost the drop rates of the limited 5-star Light Cone Life Should Be Cast to Flames (Erudition), as well as the 4-star Light Cones Landau’s Choice (Preservation), Only Silence Remains (The Hunt), and Perfect Timing (Abundance) for a limited period.
