Key points

  1. Nvidia rolled out the GeForce Game Ready 581.29 WHQL driver for Borderlands 4 and Dying Light: The Beast on September 10, 2025.
  2. It optimizes both games with DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, Borderlands 4 with Nvidia Reflex, Dying Light with Ray Reconstruction.
  3. The update lands in time for Borderlands 4’s launch and ahead of Dying Light: The Beast’s September 19 release.

Nvidia released the GeForce Game Ready 581.29 WHQL driver for Windows 10/11, tuned for Borderlands 4 and Dying Light: The Beast. The update is focused on DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, improves DLSS support across RTX GPUs, and enables Reflex for lower input latency in BL4 and ray tracing with DLSS Ray Reconstruction in Dying Light.

The new driver targets launch-week performance for both titles. On GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation can multiply Borderlands 4 frame rates by up to 5.5 times, according to Nvidia. RTX 40 series owners can use DLSS Frame Generation, and all RTX GPUs can enable DLSS Super Resolution. Nvidia Reflex is available and can reduce latency by up to 54% in BL4.
