Sports Interactive has finally announced Football Manager 26’s release date, and it’s coming out on Nov. 5, 2025. The studio announced earlier this year that there will be no Football Manager 25, as they will instead focus on the aforementioned game.
The announcement was made on Steam, and the developers called the game “the next evolution of football storytelling.” Football Manager 26 was made using Unity and will feature a user interface overhaul “with our most immersive matchday experience yet.”
Women’s football will also be added to the game. “Seamlessly integrated into the FM ecosystem as one footballing world, its backed by the most comprehensive database of its kind and a host of licensed competitions set to be revealed in the coming weeks.”
Additionally, FM26 Console and FM26 Mobile–which is only available on Netflix–will also be released on the same date. The Nintendo Switch version of the game will be called FM26 Touch and is scheduled to be released digitally on Dec. 4, 2025.
Fans interested to play Football Manager 26 on PC and Mac can now pre-purchase the game on Steam or from a Sega-approved digital retailer for a 10% discount. The console version’s pre-order will start at a later date.
