The WEB3 monster-catching MMORPG Spellborne received Stage 3 Mutations for its creatures, unlocking their true forms and allowing players to mount them.
To unlock a mount, players need to give their monster its special item and complete the mutation. Once the creature evolves, the player can ride it. According to the announcement from the developer on Sept. 9, 2025, the game is set to receive new mutations such as Razor Fang – Skitten, Leaf Crown – Presleaf, and Dragon Scale – Caiman.

Developed and published by Mon Studios, an indie game development studio focused on retro pixel art games set in the fictional Yorokobi Town, Spellborne is a pixelated monster-collecting adventure that follows the story of three kids: Atom, Bellatrix, and Cosmo.
