Overwatch 2 Patch Update Adds Bug Fixes for Stadium Competitive Drafts

The latest Overwatch 2 retail patch notes were released on Sept. 8, 2025 and added minor bug fix changes for Stadium Competitive Drafts; no hero balancing was included in this patch update.
In addition to the bug fixes, Lucioball received an update. Players can now play in the first-person view by opening up the Stadium control options and adjusting the Camera Perspective settings.

- In a previous update, we fixed an issue in Stadium Competitive Drafts where a random hero would sometimes be selected for players.
- In a previous update, we fixed an issue in Stadium Competitive Drafts where players would sometimes have their hero deselected and need to reselect.
- In a previous update, we fixed an issue in Stadium Competitive Drafts where Tank players will no longer sometimes be placed in the first draft slot.

Beginning on Overwatch 2 season 18, Mouse and Keyboard users have a separate player pool from controller users; it was previously PC Pool and Console Pool. Overwatch 2 Season 18 started on Aug. 26, 2025. The game is available on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
