March of Giants, Amazon Games’ multiplayer online battle arena, announced that it has expanded the closed alpha test to include players from Europe. Previously, the closed alpha was only available to people in North America.
The announcement was posted on Steam, where the developers also mentioned what they were doing during the closed alpha and the next steps they’re going to take. According to them, only a select few are going to be initially invited, but the number will expand after monitoring performance, latency, feedback and overall game experience.
Additionally, the developers also mentioned that European players will be routed to the US East servers during the closed alpha. The developers acknowledged that this setup is not optimal but also said that “the latency to our servers is consistently within the acceptable range for matchmaking.”
Players interested in hopping on to the closed alpha of March of Giants will have to head over to the game’s Steam Page and click on “Request Access.” From there, players will have to wait until they receive an email from Steam that they have been chosen to participate in the alpha. March of Giants started its closed alpha test on Sept. 2, 2025.
