On Sept. 6, 2025, Delta Force set another record for its all-time peak concurrent players on Steam with an astonishing 213,519 players. Two days before the new record, the developers announced multiple events that would happen on Sept. 5, contributing to the surge of players.
The events span from Operations to Warfare, with each of them rewarding players with different cosmetics, vouchers and more. Additionally, a press release also mentioned that the developers have fixed a bug on the console version of the game, which prevented PlayStation 5 players from entering the game due to an error.
Delta Force has been breaking its own records for quite some time now. Since May 2025, its peak players on Steam have continued rising with no signs of slowing down. In August, the developers released the game’s console version, which only boosted the number of players. This also means that the overall player count of the game is much higher than what Steam shows.
The game is also holding an invitational tournament this month. It starts on Sept. 19 and will end on Sept. 21. 12 teams from all around the world will meet in Hangzhou, China and face off against each other for a chance at winning $150,000 from a $500,000 prize pool.
