The King is Watching officially sold over 300,000 copies, an achievement development studio Hypnohead shared via social media on Sept. 3, 2025. The King is Watching is an indie roguelike title that costs $14.99 and requires only 1 GB of space and 2 GB of RAM.
On the same date as the milestone achievement, The King is Watching soundtrack was released, costing $3.99 at full price and providing an official soundtrack for the game, featuring nine tracks designed to “help players focus on any task,” according to the official Steam posting.
The official soundtrack of The King is Watching features nine ambient tracks designed to help you focus on any task, along with 16 variations of main themes, including battle and instrumental pieces.
The game added Korean, Japanese, French, Brazilian Portuguese and Polish on April 29, included in its regularly scheduled update. The update also added the option to open the Encyclopedia in its pause menu and various bug fixes for the game.
Hypnohead also created Save The Reactor in May 2022, a game that costs only $4.99. As for the publishing company, tinyBuild, it was founded in 2011 and is focused on publishing indie games.
