Initially released on April 3, 2014, created by Ustwo Games, Monument Valley is playable on iOS and Android platforms, Windows PCs, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

The game marked the beginning of the series and received a sequel, Monument Valley 2, in 2017, which was followed by Monument Valley 3, released in 2024.
