Monster Hunter Now Is About to Get New Exploration Bases in Season 7

Monster Hunter Now Season 7, subtitled Advent of the Exploration Base, was officially teased for release on Sept. 18, 2025.
Along with the official launch of Exploration Bases, the new season will bring more foes to the game, including Espinas, Garangolm, Lunagaron and Riftborne Deviljho, as well as a major upgrade for style customizations, which were first introduced in Season 6.
Monster Hunter Now will also receive six new skills:
- Pursuit: Increases the damage of an attack that breaks a body part for the first time during a hunt
- Ballistics: Increases the Critical Range of ammo/arrows
- Reckless: Increases damage but makes players unable to perform perfect evades
- Guard Up: Allows players to guard against attacks that usually cannot be blocked
- Vital Fire: Increases weapon’s fire element value according to the player’s remaining health
- Vital Ice: Increases weapon’s ice element value according to the player’s remaining health.
Developed by Niantic and Capcom and launched on Sept. 14, 2023, for both Android and iOS, Monster Hunter Now had generated over $250 million in gross revenue across Google Play and the App Store by November 2024. The game had been downloaded over 15 million times worldwide as of December 2024.
As of the time of writing, Monster Hunter Now features a 4.5-star rating out of five with over 291,000 reviews and over 5 million downloads on Google Play and a 4.7-star rating out of five with 46,300 reviews on the App Store.
