Real-time strategy tower defence Cataclismo joined the roster of games on Microsoft Gaming’s subscription service, Xbox Game Pass, on Sept. 4, 2025.
The title became available on Windows PC via the Xbox PC app for members of the Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscription plans.
Developed by Digital Sun and published by Hooded Horse, Cataclismo entered early access on July 16, 2024, and was released in full on March 20, 2025.
The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world in which a magical cataclysm created a suffocating poison mist that has spread across the globe. In Cataclismo, during the daytime, players must explore and collect resources, construct fortresses and strongholds and train various types of troops, while at night, the player’s settlement is attacked by large hordes of mutating enemies known as the “Horrors,” which seek to destroy the player’s stronghold command center.
As of the time of writing, the game has a “Very Positive” rating on Steam with 3,351 reviews and an all-time peak of 3,152 concurrent players, according to SteamDB.
