Developed by Ilex Games and published by Atari, Adventure of Samsara is a reimagining of the 1980s adventure, which was made for the Atari 2600. The title is built for modern systems in a similar manner to Yars Rising, styled as a 2D platformer with Metroidvania gameplay elements.
In the game, players assume control of the Solar Champion, a long-dead Plutonian resurrected by the primordial light of the Sun and tasked with reactivating a mysterious interdimensional fortress to restore balance to the multiverse.
As the Solar Champion battles through 10 diverse, interconnected biomes and confronts brutal mutant bosses, he will unlock new abilities and enhancements, each revealing deeper layers of the game’s narrative.
