Marvel Rivals season 4 teaser trailer officially confirmed Daredevil and Angela for the team-based shooter, but their individual release dates have not been confirmed. As for the Marvel Rivals season 4 release date, the new season begins on Sept. 12, 2025.

The exact changes were not revealed yet, as the patch update upcoming on the 12th is typically where the full details are shown. Other changes added to the game include slow walking support on PC for “aura farming,” and new team-ups abilities.
The developer’s vlog outlined some changes coming to the shooter, including the summer special vol. 2. This limited-time event debuts new swimsuit costumes, with some teasers having already been revealed.

The Summer Special Vol. 2 begins on Sept. 18, 2025, around a week after the season begins. Swimsuit costumes for The Thing, Mantis, Punisher, Emma Frost, and Human Torch were teased. NetEase also stated that custom ultimate VFX effects are being added, allowing for another layer of personalization in aesthetics.
Marvel Rivals PlayStation 4 port was also confirmed. The title is already available on PlayStation 5, and rumors regarding a port for the previous generation console had been ciruclating prior to the official announcement.
