Team Cherry Officially Reveals Hollow Knight: Silksong Price

On Sept. 1, 2025, Team Cherry, the developers of Hollow Knight: Silksong, revealed on social media the final price of the much-awaited game. According to them, Hollow Knight: Silksong is going to be priced at $19.99.
Even before the official announcement, several rumors were already circulating claiming that the game would be available for $20, and it seems that those were true. With that being said, the developers also reminded people in the X post that the game will be out on Sept. 4, 2025.
Additionally, they also provided an official release timetable, which is:
- 7 AM PT
- 10 AM ET
- 4 PM CEST
- 11 PM JST
Hollow Knight: Silksong was announced back in February 2019. It is the sequel to the studio’s Hollow Knight, which performed very well and won awards at different awards ceremonies such as the Australian Games Awards and the Australian Screen Sound Guild. Hollow Knight: Silksong, on the other hand, has won twice at the Unity Awards under the category of Most Anticipated Game.
Hollow Knight has sold over 15 million copies as of August 2025. It’s available on different platforms such as PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
