The Counter-Strike 2 tournament, BLAST Open London 2025, began on August 27, 2025, and will continue through September 7, 2025.

A roster of 16 teams from around the globe will compete online during the period Aug. 27, 2025 – Sep. 1, 2025, in a bid to secure one of eight places at the LAN playoffs, which will be hosted at London’s OVO Arena Wembley from Sep. 5 to Sep. 7, 2025.

The 16 teams in BLAST Open London 2025 have been split into two groups of eight, and each group will battle in a double-elimination GSL format to determine which teams move on, with every match in the group stage being best-of-three. The top three teams from each group will qualify for the LAN finals. The group winners will go straight to the semi-finals, while the second- and third-place teams will fight in the quarter-finals. At the LAN finals, the tournament switches to a single-elimination bracket. All matches there will be best-of-three, except for the grand final, which will be best-of-five. The LAN finals are scheduled from September 5 to 7, 2025.

As for the tournament’s team roster, it includes Team Vitality, MOUZ, Team Spirit, FaZe Clan, NAVI, FURIA, G2 Esports, GamerLegion, Virtus.pro, Team Liquid, Legacy, Fnatic, ECSTATIC, M80, Imperial Esports, and FlyQuest.

The total prize pool for the event is $330,000, which will be distributed among the participants according to their final placements. The first-place winner will receive $150,000, along with 3 tokens of the Frequent Flyers Program (FFP), a revenue-share program of $2,000,000 divided among all teams earning tokens at BLAST Premier events during the 2025 calendar year. The second-place participant will get $60,000 and 1 FFP token. Those finishing in third and fourth place will each earn $40,000 plus 1 FFP token. Participants placing fifth and sixth will receive $20,000 each, along with 1 FFP token.
