The launch of the isometric turn-based RPG Demonschool was officially postponed to Nov. 19, 2025.
Initially slated for release on Sept. 3, 2025, the title, developed by Necrosoft Games and published by Ysbryd Games, is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S, as well as Windows, macOS and Linux PCs.
The game’s developer cited brutal market conditions as the major reason for the delay. As the so-called Grand Theft Auto VI of all indies, Hollow Knight: Silksong, will launch just one day after the originally planned release of Demonschool.
Notably, it is the third case of the game’s postponement since the announcement of the Hollow Knight: Silksong release date.
Demonschool is a tactical RPG that allows players to control Faye and 14 of her companions, battling strange creatures caught between the human and demon worlds while navigating university life on a mysterious island that changes and reveals new secrets throughout the day and night over the course of a university semester.
