Riot Games confirmed Blitzcrank, the rolling golem, as the ninth champion in 2XKO. The champion was initially leaked by accident, and later confirmed to avoid confusion among the community. Though the champ is now officially confirmed via social media post, no moves or in-game combos were showcased. A full reveal of the champion is occurring on Sept. 2.
Available during the closed beta, Blitzcrank is known as the most iconic hook champion in League of Legends. His Q ability in the MOBA yanks enemies directly to him, thereby allowing the robot to zap them and hit them with his fists. His key identity is expected to remain in 2XKO.
2XKO is an upcoming free-to-play fighting game expected to release for PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S in 2025. The closed beta begins on Sept. 9, available globally on PC. Signups are available here; players who participated in Alpha Lab 1 or 2 are already eligible for the closed beta.
Considering that this is probably a slow rollout to the game’s eventual full release, a large number of players will be invited to the game as it continues its closed beta progress. It’s also worth noting that the closed beta is going to be available globally.
