Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Receives Second Story DLC, Legacy of the Forge

Warhorse Studios announced that their huge hit, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, is receiving its second story DLC called Legacy of the Forge. The DLC was announced during Gamescom 2025, which started on Aug. 20, 2025.
This upcoming DLC seems to allow Henry to become a master of the forge that was left behind by his father. Players will be able to rebuild the forge that was burnt down, and even add new rooms, “with plenty of designs and customisable features.
In addition to this, new unique blueprints will also be available to players, and they can now raise their Guild Rank by completing quests to help people living in Kuttenberg. Players interested in continuing the story of the game will also be satisfied as the studio revealed that they will be able to meet the acquaintances of Henry’s late father.
The game’s first DLC, Brushes with Death, was released on May 15, 2025. It gave the players the option to paint their shield, and spend time with the game a lot more as they help an artist by completing their quests. Players who have bought the expansion pass don’t have to buy Legacy of the Forge and Brushes with Death separately.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II was released on Feb. 4, 2025. The game received a generally favorable rating on Metacritic, and has sold more than 3 million copies as of May 5, 2025. According to the developers, there will be three upcoming expansions. Legacy of the Forge DLC will be released on Sept. 9, 2025.
