  1. Rainbow Six Siege X’s Operation High Stakes will introduce a new Operator named Denari.
  2. His unique gadget is perfect for locking down rooms and slowing down attackers.
  3. The new season will be available to play on Sept. 2, 2025.

Rainbow Six Siege X’s upcoming season, Operation High Stakes, will introduce a new operator called Denari. He’s going to be a defender, and it seems that his T.R.I.P. unique gadget is a perfect fit for detecting and inhibiting the push of the attackers.

While the short video that shows Denari’s unique gadget only shows it being used in a room, there’s also a way for players to use this in a much more aggressive way by placing it in certain points that would force attackers to shoot it, destroying it, but also giving the defenders an idea where the attackers might be coming from.

Aside from the new Operator, Ubisoft continues its efforts to modernize the maps of the game. This season, three new maps will be updated to include destructible ingredients: Nighthaven, Consulate and Lair. Textures, lighting and materials were also updated in those maps for a much more modern look.

In terms of balancing, Blackbeard has taken the brunt of it. The developers removed his ability to aim down sights while rappelling into windows, as well as the ability to break undamaged barricades while rappelling.

In addition to that, magnified scopes are also being removed from the loadouts of Goyo, Doc, Rook, Frost, Echo, Tachanka and Castle. The developers justified their removal by saying that this would “reduce aggressive playstyles on defense.”

Sledge, Oryx, Pulse, Ying and Rook are all given the Reaper MK2, a machine pistol, to give them more flexibility. The weapon also received a recoil buff, making it easier to control. Sentry was given the TCSG123 shotgun and Striker was handed the SR-25 DMR, making them more adaptable to more situations.

Rainbow Six Siege X’s Operation High Stakes will be deployed to the server on Sept. 2, 2025. The game is available on PlayStation 4 & 5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
