Krafton’s competitor to The Sims, InZoi, is officially coming to PlayStation 5 in 2026, while an Xbox release is also under consideration but not yet confirmed, according to the announcement posted on the game’s official X (formerly Twitter) page.
InZoi launched on March 28, 2025, in Early Access mode for Windows PC via Steam and is slated for release on macOS on Aug. 20, 2025, in Early Access mode as well.
The title is a life simulator where players assume control over the lives of characters, known as Zois, who can perform different actions and build relationships based on their personalities, life experiences, and other parameters set by the user.
As of the time of writing, the South Korean competitor to The Sims has a “Mostly Positive” rating on Steam with 20,8970 reviews, and an all-time peak of 87,377 concurrent players, according to SteamDB.
Notably, the game hit the milestone of 1 million copies sold in one week after release, becoming the company’s fastest-selling game, but soon after launch, the title saw a dramatic drop in active players.
