Co-op climbing game Peak has reached a new record of 135,536 concurrent players, according to SteamDB, less than one day after receiving a new update titled Mesa.
Developed and published by Aggro Crab, in cooperation with Landfall Games, Peak was launched on June 16, 2025, for Windows PC only via Steam.
Peak supports cooperative play for up to four users, who must work together to climb a mountain following a crash landing on an unknown island, while the map cycles every 24 hours and doesn’t repeat.
As of the time of writing, the co-op game has a “Very Positive” rating on Steam based on 75,607 reviews.
Peak sold over 5 million copies in under a month since its release. Notably, the developer’s previous title, Another Crab’s Treasure, has officially reached 500,000 copies sold while being available not only on Windows PC but also on PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
