Endless Legend 2 demo is available for a limited time from Aug. 11 to Aug. 18. The demo is only available on Steam, and has two factions playable: the Kin of Sheredyn and the Aspects. Within the demo, the player can meet up to 15 minor factions and face the Necrophage.
Amplitude Studios originally planned Endless Legend 2 to release on Aug. 7, 2025; the title’s early access debut was delayed to Sept. 22, 2025, as per the official Steam posting.
The upcoming sequel is set to feature nine victory conditions: score victory, military domination victory, and seven types of narrative victories. The game takes place in an oceanic world called Saiadha, where natural phenomena known as Tidefalls affect the land. The phenomenon causes ocean levels to recede, opening new explorable areas for players. Endless Legend 2 requires more involvement from the player than its predecessor, requiring the player to issue commands manually.
The first Endless Legend reportedly sold over 1.1 million copies and is part of the broader Endless series, including Endless Space and Dungeon of the Endless. According to PCGamersN, the entire franchise has sold over 2 million copies.
