An early preorder listing for Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 leaked the Oct. 21 supposed release date for the sequel. The leak occurred in the Philippines, within a website called GameExtreme; as of writing, the listing is still up. Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 was initially announced during March of 2019, but reportedly saw trouble during development.
The title was originally being developed by Hardsuit Labs, but the publisher, Paradox Interactive, opted to change development studios. The Chinese Room, the studio responsible for Still Wakes the Deep, was revealed as the new developers in Sept. 2023, handling development until the game’s release, which appears to be Oct. 21, 2025.
Prior to its official launch, the Steam posting for Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 communicated various development updates on the game, providing various gameplay snippets and story teasers for the title.
Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2’s predecessor reportedly sold 72,000 copies during its initial release, according to a news story from Game Informer. The title was available on PC only and released on Nov. 16, 2004.
