The Nintendo Indie World Showcase announced 18 indie titles releasing on the Nintendo Switch or Switch 2; some are Nintendo Switch 2 exclusives, while a number of them are for the original Nintendo Switch. Among the revealed titles is Little Kitty, Big City — a game that follows the life of a customizable kitty as it travels through an open-world playground full of surprises.

Nintendo held a separate direct for its AAA titles for the Switch 2 and Switch 1 on July 31, during which 24 total trailers were revealed. During the direct, Nintendo announced Monster Hunter Stories 3 for the first time, the third installment in the series.
