Developed by Oxide Games and published by Stardock Entertainment, just like the original title, the sequel will allow players to command the United Earth Forces, a powerful human alliance forged between NATO, China, and Russia. This alliance is determined to reclaim Earth’s territories, including Australia and Africa, as well as vital outposts on planets and moons across the solar system, all previously overtaken by AI and Post-Humans.

Besides featuring even more massive battles than Ashes of the Singularity, Ashes of the Singularity II will offer a story-driven single-player campaign set in a near-future 2031 landscape, along with cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes.

As recommended system requirements on the game’s Steam page, the title lists Windows 11 64-bit as the operating system, a CPU such as an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel i5-6400, 16 GB of RAM, and a GPU like the AMD RX Vega 64 or Nvidia GeForce RTX 1080 Ti. The game also requires DirectX version 12 and a broadband internet connection.
